A Whole of Society Response: Te Moananui (Oceania) Non-State Actors and the Plastic Pollution Crisis

The Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA), the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) and Secretariat for the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) are convening a webinar exploring a whole-of-society’ approach to plastic pollution in the Pacific. Speakers include PERC co-director Trisia Farrelly and researcher, scholar and advocate for environmental, Indigenous and human rights Tina Ngata.

Join the webinar to:

-Discuss the ‘whole-of-society’ approach to plastic pollution in the Pacific;
-Recount and and share actions undertaken by regional Non-State Actors to curb the plastics crisis;
-Identify potential role of NSAs in the process towards a global plastic treaty;
-Discuss ways to inform and influence regional and global plastic policy action
