Dr Trisia Farrelly is Co-Director of PERC. Her work contributes to building capacity in NZ and the large ocean, small island developing states (LOSIDS) of Oceania to strengthen plastic pollution science, public engagement, and ultimately, effective policy frameworks. Trisia’s current work focusses on plastic pollution as waste colonialism in Oceania.

Matt Peryman is an anthropology student based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Ko Ngāti Awa te Iwi. Matt's research focuses on Indigenous-led plastics pollution mitigation, kaitiakitanga, and anticolonial science.

Romilly Cumming is a Senior Investment Analyst at the Ministry for the Environment. Following a scholarship in 2021 exploring plastic pollution as waste colonialism in Aotearoa, she became involved with product stewardship advocacy and now manages the communications for the Kiwi Bottle Drive and is a member of the Aotearoa Plastic Pollution Alliance.
