The Aotearoa Plastic Pollution Alliance (APPA) has released the full programme of events, taking place online and in person (COVID permitting) in P\u014dneke\/Wellington on December 2-3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A range of presentations demonstrate the breadth and depth of APPA members’ expertise and brings together science, creativity, business, policy, research and advocacy for the sake of restoring the mauri of Papat\u016b\u0101nuku and Tangaroa, and protecting the wellbeing of people and all living creatures – all so deeply affected by plastic pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The role of airborne microplastics in a changing climate
– Creative Responses to Plastic Pollution
– The road to a binding global plastic pollution treaty
– Using science to inform business decisions and promote behaviour change
– Plastics and marine debris across the ocean floor in New Zealand waters
